Robe of Hiikawa
There is this amusing folklore. They say the river of Hiikawa used to be a peaceful waterway, well-traveled by ships and boats. One day, there came this mysterious woman, dressed in a robe covered in fine pattern of waves. She dived into the river without so much as a word. Locals quickly organized a search and rescue party, and found nothing but that robe. The robe, well, ain't it a fine piece of art? It depicted tall waves reaching for the skies, so lifelike that the mere sight sends shivers down your spine. Ever since that, Hiikawa became a body of rolling waters, no longer fit for travel.
